Hello all you lovely people! I’m Imogen, and here are the highlights of my story…

I was a nerd in school. I did lots of math, physics and music. ? I thought I would be an engineer.

Thank goodness, it never happened. ?

I attended the Conservatorium for classical piano, however, as I only practiced 3 hours a day, on a good day (and not 5-8 like all good piano students), so there was never really, ever going to be a career as a concert pianist. ? I loved it, but I loved pop more.

Oh, that, and seeing the sun once in a while…

So I taught a lot, and played in restaurants, cafes and bars, wrote songs and recorded.

Life was going great.

And then I met him.

And married him.

In 2011 I became the wife of the most incredible man, the love of my life, Peter. It was the best decision I ever made!

He is 6 foot 8, a tall streak of handsome, as my Nanna says, and he is the sweetest, cuddliest, tallest teddy bear you ever met! He is my angel, my better half and he gets me in a way, I never imagined possible.

When we were first married, we were like kids when the parents aren’t home. As in, kids after school with their heads in the milo tin. (Did everyone do that, or was it just me?) Except, we had half milo and half milk. Jugfuls. All the time. Like, literally a jug each…

I moved from Queensland to New South Wales to be with Pete, so I left everything I knew and called home. Luckily I love the south, and have learned to love it even more every day since. It’s so beautiful where we live. Ocean, Mountains, not too much traffic…ahh what more could you want?

Well,  we always wanted kids… but had a bit of trouble conceiving. Luckily for us, three rounds of hormone tablets, and we fell pregnant with our beautiful twins!

Born in 2014, they are the apples of our eye, our greatest treasures, Walter and Victoria, or Wally and Tori as we like to call them.

They have since started walking and talking and have really become such little mini-me’s which is the most amazing thing to experience.

They keep getting older, funnier, and are becoming more and more fun and independent!

So now, here I am, a wife, mother, musician and now a blogger…

I have always loved fashion, in particular demure, classic fashion, and I hope to share some inspiration in my posts. I also love a good bargain, so stay tuned.. I like to be very honest and open with my reviews, and won’t recommend anything I wouldn’t wear myself even when sponsored.

I also hope to get some more music up on the blog asap, however that is a little harder than the fashion…

Other interests include home decor, travelling, cooking, gardening, exercise, and diet and nutrition, so don’t be surprised if they get mixed in occasionally too!

If you have read this far, thanks so much for stopping by and spending some time here! Don’t be a stranger – feel free to connect with me on social media, comment on a post or send an email to say hi!
