I actually met Tony Abbott on Saturday which was pretty amazing! He was so lovely and after hearing him speak, I think he has a really solid character and I wish he could have run our country longer. It also made me think I should pay more attention to politics! I kind of tuned out after they started kicking each other out of the boss’s chair, but I think it’s high time I start listening up again!
So…this look is a very fun one! I bought this skirt at the same time as I bought the Black Ball Gown Skirt (Read HERE) from England and love them both! This skirt has three layers, a beautiful satin-y base, a very firm tulle second layer, then a very floaty, pleated top layer. It feels fairly heavy and substantial when you are wearing it. Also, if you would like a firm waist band, I would size down a size with this skirt.
The blouse is gorgeous, very silky and metallic. My SIL had one very similar, so I knew when I saw it at that price, I wanted it!
And lastly, of coarse, my trusty, go-to black heels!
